Proverbs 16:6-8

⁶ Through mercy and truth, guilt is atoned for,
and through the fear of the Lord, one turns away from evil.
⁷ When the Lord is pleased with a man’s ways,
he causes even his enemies to live at peace with him.

⁸ Better a little with righteousness
    than a large income without justice.
